These visualizations contain demographic and other information collected by the Burn Model System National Database. Data was collected from 1993 to present (2022). The Burn Model System is funded by the National Institute for Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research.
We also publish an Annual Report of BMS Data that examines demographics, injury characteristics, and outcomes measures in the database. Additionally, every year we publish Facts and Figures about adults and children, which are short reports that provide a broad overview of the data contained in the BMS Database.
